Spookley the Square Pumpkin Coloring Page Printable Pdf - Spookley the Square Pumpkin is a 2004 film about Canadian geometric pumpkins and is based on the book The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin by Joe Troiano. It was created by Holiday Hill Farm, and released by Kidtoon Films and Lionsgate. Spookley's Favorite Halloween song was released in 2012. Several Spookley the Square Pumpkin activity books were also released. A sequel, Spookley, and the Christmas Kittens was released on December 6, 2019, on Disney Junior.

Two bats living at Holiday Hill Farm, insectivorous Boris, and insect-loving vegetarian Bella, discover an unusual sight in the pumpkin patch and rush to tell the farm scarecrow, Jack, about their find: young, plain, and square pumpkins, who identified himself as Spookley. Jack likes Spookley, but Little Tom, a little pumpkin tied by a vine to a much bigger Big Tom, immediately starts bullying Spookley and says only round pumpkins are real pumpkins. Jack quickly stopped Little Tom's teasing.

Jack arranges pumpkins on the patch to compete in the 'Jack-o-Lympics' contest, an athletic competition designed to determine the "Pick of the Patch." The three spiders, showing sympathy for Spookley, decide to help him at the Jack-o-Lympics just so they can help themselves to a prize, a crown made of candy corn. Throughout the competition, Big Tom and Little Tom are repeatedly disqualified for using their wine to give them an unfair advantage, leaving third-placed Bobo, a vain female gourd, to win most of the events. Spookley turned out to be a total failure at all events, leaving him in despair.

When Bobo has crowned the victor and the spiders leave Spookley to help themselves to his crown, a gale hurls through the pumpkin patch, pushing the pumpkins everywhere and pinning Jack under a flaming tree branch. Spookley, because he's square, doesn't roll over when the wind hits him (unlike other pumpkins) and, through a few moments of ingenuity, saves Jack from being burned alive and his fellow pumpkins drifting in the river. The other pumpkins show their gratitude for saving them.

After the storm, the farmer goes to the patch to assess the damage and finds Spookley. The farmer was fascinated by Spookley's square shape and decided to make the square pumpkin his personal jack-o'-lantern.

The Honeydoos, three singing honeydews who sing in the style of The Pointer Sisters, are also featured. Bobby Pickett makes a brief cameo near the end of the film; his hit song "Monster Mash" was mentioned in one of the musical numbers "Transylvania Twist". Troiano and Zahn had previously written new music for Pickett's 1995 film adaptation of Monster Mash.
