Spookley the Square Pumpkin Boris and Bella Pdf - Based on Joe Troiano's book The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, the 2004 movie Spookley the Square Pumpkin is about Canadian geometric pumpkins. Additionally, a number of Spookley the Square Pumpkin activity books were published. On December 6, 2019, Spookley and the Christmas Kittens, the sequel, debuted on Disney Junior.

Insect-eating Boris and insect-loving vegetarian Bella, two resident bats at Holiday Hill Farm, notice something strange in the pumpkin patch and immediately alert farm scarecrow Jack to what they have found: immature, simple, and square pumpkins, who introduced himself as Spookley. Jack likes Spookley, but Little Tom, a tiny pumpkin attached by a vine to a much larger Big Tom, starts picking on Spookley right once and claims that only round pumpkins are indeed pumpkins. In preparation for the Jack-o-Lympics, an athletic tournament to choose the "Pick of the Patch," Jack sets up pumpkins on the patch to participate. The three spiders decide to assist Spookley at the Jack-o'-Lympics because they feel sorry for him and want to win a candy corn-made crown as a prize. Big Tom and Little Tom consistently lose the competition because they cheated with their wine, giving third-placed Bobo, a conceited female gourd, the majority of the victories. Spookley proved to be a complete failure in all events, which depressed him.

A gale hurls across the pumpkin patch after Bobo crowns the winner and the spiders leave Spookley to help themselves to his crown, pushing the pumpkins all over the place and trapping Jack under a blazing tree branch. Due to his square shape and the fact that he doesn't turn over in the wind as other pumpkins do, Spookley manages to save Jack from being burned alive and his fellow pumpkins from drifting in the river. The other pumpkins express their appreciation for being saved.

The farmer discovers Spookley when he visits the patch to inspect the damage following the storm. The square shape of Spookley captivated the farmer, who decided to carve it into his own personal jack-o-lantern.

Also included are The Honeydoos, a trio of honeydew singers that perform in The Pointer Sisters' vein. Near the end of the movie, Bobby Pickett appears briefly; one of the musical performances, "Transylvania Twist," alludes to his smash song "Monster Mash." For Pickett's 1995 version of Monster Mash for the screen, Troiano and Zahn had previously created new music.
